In 2012, Brett founded brettapproved, Inc., a travel and entertainment company focused on serving travelers with mobility challenges. Prior to brettapproved, he was a successful journalist and PR pro who transformed into a tech entrepreneur and visionary.
Now, Brett travels the globe helping his clients truly understand the complex nature of disability. He offers tangible, real-world advice designed to help his clients understand the difference between something being “ADA compliant” and truly accessible.
A member of the Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 class of 2015, Brett serves on the Board of United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona and is widely considered a go-to resource on topics related to travel and mobility for companies around the globe.
Brett believes that life is defined by experiences, and that everyone should have the accessibility information and services they need to travel confidently – whether meeting friends for coffee down the street or traveling the world on the trip of a lifetime. He’s on a mission to help companies transform how they think about the more than 60 million Americans who, like Brett, live with a physical disability.

It was home to more than 1,100 hotel, restaurant and entertainment venue data. With the site, he helped the more than one billion people around the world who live with a disability, travel confidently.
Since then, Brett has been educating and inspiring people around the world about living life with a physical disability.
